Kohl's is the perfect one stop shop for all of your holiday needs, especially when you're shopping on a budget (or just saving money so you can shop for yourself!)
We were invited to a preview of Kohl's dream gift collection and did a little Christmas shopping of our own. We also got to play a few shopping challenges to get us in the spirit and learn about everything Kohl's has to offer. Not only was it a great way to get acquainted with the store (who KNEW they sold Essie?) but in the process we put together the perfect holiday gift guide!
The first challenge we took on was 'Shop That Trend', in which we created what we like to call a "Whimsical Edgy" look... or everyday wear, for us. We fell in love with this girly tulle skirt by LC Lauren Conrad, but to make it more us, we added leather to amp up the edge. Jill loved the skirt so much, she took it home that night!
Our second challenge was for a specific recipient of our choosing, and we chose the recent graduate. From a full outfit perfect for a girl's interview or first day at work, to an easy cookbook and porcelain party cup to never forget those crazy college days, some of these gifts can work for both genders.
"More the Merrier" was our third challenge, where we had to find five essential items to make your out-of-town guests feel like they're staying in their own home. Nothing says cozy like a soft throw and a fluffy robe, which makes a great gift for any hard-to-shop-for people on your list. And how perfect is this "cozy home" candle?! Take it from us, it smells amazing.

One of our favorite finds of the night were these awesome non-spill mason jars with straws, which we had to buy for each other. Christmas came early for us, and they'll be extremely useful for our Saturday meetings... AKA when we watch Pretty Little Liars and drink champagne.
