DIPTYQUE PERSONAL AND HOME FRAGRANCES REVIEW

In yesterday's post we gave you a quick tour of diptyque in Wicker Park, and now it's time for the fun part. We've sniffed, exfoliated, lotioned, and lit our way through the products chosen specifically for our personalities and likes, and can't wait to share our thoughts!

Baies Candle ($28.00 - $60.00)
Mimosa Candle ($28.00 - $60.00)

Picked just for Jess, the Baies Candlea bouquet of roses and blackcurrent leaves, can let you skip the trip to the florist and give you a fruity and floral scent that fills up the room and lingers even after you blow it out. Jill was given the Mimosa Candle, curated by the scent of hay and honey. It's a great candle to light when you have company over in the evening, but also perfect to sit unlit on your kitchen table in the daytime, for a faint, light scent.

Do Son Eau de Toilette ($88.00 - $120.00)
Philosykos Eau de Toilette ($88.00 - $120.00)

Do Son Eau de Toilette, exudes the fresh, intoxicating sensuality of tuberose. With one spray, the powerful, but delicate floral scent creates a crisp and perfect scent for every woman. Not one to normally wear fragrance, everyone noticed the refreshing new take to Jess's morning routine. Philosykos Eau de Toilettean ode to the entire [fig] tree, is instantly a new favorite for Jill. Being very sensitive to smells and prone to headaches from those that are overbearing, this fragrance has the perfect balance of being noticeable without being heavy. Usually Jill goes for a more feminine fragrance, like Marc Jacob's Daisy or Chanel's Chance, but she's loving the masculine undertones in Philosykos.

In our diptyque gift bags, was a variety of other products that strayed away from our typical scents and gave us something new to try, and fall in love with.

The Satin Oil for Body and Hair is the perfect thing for after a bath, bare legs, and right before you crawl into a bed. It leaves your skin smooth with a hint of jasmine, ylang ylang, and saffron makes for the best feeling and perfect aroma. Rich Butter for the Body has a floral and light fragrance while hydrating the driest skin - you'll want to use this all over! For fragrances, Olène Eau do Toilette, is a blend of wisteria, honeysuckle, jasmine, narcissus, and white flowers, offers the cleanest fragrance of the ones Jess has tried. L'Ombre dans l'Eau makes you feel like you're in the middle of the most beautiful field, sweet with roses and blackcurrant. Eau Rose, Jess's new favorite, is an ode to the classic flower and it's simplicity is a perfect match for any season.

Although it doesn't compare to the PhilosykosEau MohéliOyédo Eau de Toilette, and Vetyverio Eau de Toilette are also great fragrances to have, especially for the warmer weather. One of Jill's favorite products were the combination of the Smoothing Body Polish and the Satin Oil for Body and Hair, especially right before a night out. It leaves a faint but lasting scent on your skin, and is a great option if you don't want to wear fragrance.
