Renowned UK celebrity hairstylist Mark Hill and his team stopped by Chicago this past weekend to debut the launch of the Mark Hill Hair Care Collection, exclusively at Walgreens. We headed up to their luxe suite at the Sheraton Hotel, filled with the new collection, and got the chance to test them out and get our hair styled by Mark Hill and his team!

Since we knew our locks were in the best hands, we decided to both go for something out of our league. Jess had her hair done by Jules, and requested a sleek fishtail braid, while Mark Hill gave Jill full, bouncy curls. We both LOVED the transformation and were so excited with the results! Mark Hill and his team are so sweet and talented, and we can't believe that each product costs less than $12!

It's like we switched hairdos!

Jess wore a GUESS jacket, Forever 21 blouse, Marciano denim, and DV by Dolce Vita wedges.

Love the fishtail braid up close!
Wearing Bing Bang NYC Tiny Skull Earrings.

Jill wore a Nordstrom shirt, Jack skirt, Valentino heels, and necklace c/o Capwell and Co..

Look at all that hair!

Peruvian Connection started in 1976 by mother-daughter duo Biddie and Annie Hurlbut. Originally there for anthropology research of women in the Andean marketplaces, Annie fell in love with the hand-created wovens throughout Cuzco. Inspired by an alpaca sweater she bought her mother as a birthday gift, they created Peruvian Connection in their home in Kansas, and in addition to their successful catalog, they feature storefronts globally.

Peruvian Connection (925 W. Armitage Ave.), sits on the corner right off the Brown Line in Lincoln Park. Jess's appreciation for merchandising is not a let down in this beautifully decorated shop! Annie Hurlburt personally chooses the pieces and details in all her stores, and not one thing was overlooked - from clothing hooks, keepsakes, mirrors, and Peruvian accents - the store and its products are unique in itself.

Peruvian Connection (925 W. Armitage Ave.)

Featuring luxury alpaca sweaters, knitwear, jewelry, and so much more, Peruvian Connection is perfect for that every day look with one-of-a-kind and ethnic details. Check out Jess's stop at their shop and keep scrolling for a sneak peek of their upcoming Fall pieces!

No detail was overlooked!

The feel of Peru is everywhere.

Their Fall collection makes us so excited for the weather and fashions to come. Enjoy the sneak peek and keep checking back with us for glimpse of upcoming styles!

Jess cannot wait for this piece!

Jill's favorite piece!

Have you been to Peruvian Connection?

Thanks to of all of our readers, friends, and family, we were honored to win two tickets to the Lincoln Park Zoo Ball: Wild At Heart because of the blogger style contest! We had the time of our lives with all the beautiful decor, delicious food, awesome music, and fun guests. We definitely felt baller at the ball.

The ball this year raised more than a million dollars to keep it free 365 days a year and you can also help by donating here!

Jess wore her maid of honor dress from her best friend's wedding in April. You may never think you'll wear that bridal party dress again, but you never know when it's your turn to be Cinderella (or close to it). She also wore a Guinevere Resin Necklace, bracelets from The Left Bank, a bebe Silver Enamel Clutch, and Charles David 'Icon' Sandals. To finish the look, she wore Make Up For Ever's Aqua Rouge in Raspberry and Deborah Lippmann's 'Just Walk Away Renee'.

Jill wore a Rhodes Harbor Gown by Mark & James by Badgley Mischka from Rent the Runway - the perfect service for this event. She finished things off with her Love Moschino clutch, Michael Kors heels, Swarovski earrings, vintage jewels, while Essie's Watermelon, 'A Cut Above', and a red lip courtesy of Make Up For Ever, were the perfect pops of color.

After sipping champagne and checking out the silent auctions, we were greeted by the king of the Lincoln Park Zoo, Sahar.

Inside the tent was beautifully decorated with hints of animal prints throughout.

And the big surprise of the night was a performance by KC and the Sunshine Band!

And we just might have jammed out to Call Me, Maybe (we totally did).

Time to start saving up for next year's ticket!
