If you were following Bridal Fashion Week, I know you feel in love with Sarah Seven's Spring 2016 collections. If you missed it - you should probably sit down and get ready for love at first sight.

Held at Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City, Sarah Seven's latest bridal and ready to wear pieces were absolutely breathtaking. Full of lace, color, plunging backs, separates, midriffs, sleeves - oh, how I wish I could be back working at Sarah Seven in Chicago! The mauve coat was actually what sparked my obsession with the color from our post earlier this week - isn't it gorgeous?! I cannot wait for these to become street style staples and inspiration for weddings everywhere. I somehow (it was like, really hard) picked my favorite pieces - see them below!

Select pieces are available now online. For more information of any of the bridal pieces, contact the Chicago boutique at

If you've ever read our blog, you know how much I love Mad Men. With only two more episodes until the finale, I am holding on to anything I can relating to my favorite show. I was internally screaming (since I was at work) when I read that the Museum of the Moving Image is holding an exhibition on Mad Men. The exhibition explores the creative process behind the creation of the show, and holds tons of props, images, costumes, research material, and more. On display are also large-scale sets like Don Draper's kitchen (an interior design dream!), and his office.

Who wants to take a quick trip to New York with me?

Mad Men

The exhibition is open now until June 14th.

When it comes to my face, I'm lucky enough to say that my biggest issue is dry skin. Thankfully, my awkward phase in middle school didn't consist of zits and acne. But I didn't hit the skin jackpot, unfortunately, because I suffer from eczema on my body. Sure, it's not a horrible case and can barely be seen, but the itchy, dry skin is anything but pleasant. You can't have it all, right?

When I moved to Chicago, my itchy skin got worse. I've always wanted to stay away from steroids, and was determined to find something over the counter to help. When my dermatologist introduced me to Cetaphil RestoraDerm Eczema Calming Body Moisturizer, I knew I found what I was looking for! It has made a huge difference in my skin, making my dryness manageable. It lasts all day long, and the best part is, it doesn't feel like I'm wearing a heavy lotion. I use it throughout the year, no matter how hot it is outside, and I am so happy to find something that finally works. Even if you don't suffer from eczema, it's a great lotion to pick up.

What's your favorite moisturizer?

Do you ever come across a designer and get totally lost in their creations? Where you want to live in world completely designed by them? That's what happened when I came across Samantha Sleeper, a handmade bridal gown designer that perfects each stitching. I stumbled across Samantha Sleeper on Instagram (trust me, you'll want to follow), and immediately got lost in the whimsical, fantasy land that the designer's gowns originate from. I would gladly spend eternity in one of these frocks!

You can check out more of these beautiful creations online here.

LVX is hands down, one of my favorite polish brands, so when I hear they're doing 20% off your entire order, you know I have jump at that chance. Let's be real, you don't actually need a reason to get new nail colors, but if you need a reason justify it - it's springtime! I had a little fun recently with past season favorites, but I can't wait to get my hands on the latest collection. Using coupon code INSTA20, of course! (Ends Wednesday, April 22nd.)

Fall 2014

Anthracite, Cerise, Macaroon ($16.00 each)

What colors are you going to get?

When it comes to sunglasses, you can never have enough. I always make sure to keep one in every bag, every corner of my house, a pair at work, and a pair in my fiancé's car. And I'm always on the hunt for fun new pairs.

That's why I love Le Specs. Their designs are anything but boring, and with their reasonable pricing, I don't have to feel too bad about misplacing a pair. And they look way more expensive than they are!

Happy Friday!
