JILL'S THANKSGIVING

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

I spent mine in sunny South Florida, with family and friends. Since the next day my parents were throwing my fiancé and I an engagement party (more on that soon), we had a low-key holiday. Still, there was so much food, and that didn't stop my mom from decorating. Here is a small look into my amazing holiday. Even Kalla made an appearance!

THANKSGIVING DECORATIONS

Thanksgiving will be here sooner than we think, and it's time to make things a little bit more festive around your home! Even if you're not the one doing the hosting, and plan on eating all of the food someone else is cooking (like we do), it's always fun to decorate your house. What we love about seasonal decorations is that they're another thing to look forward to during the holidays, and can become a family keepsake. Here are some items to add to your home for Thanksgiving!

Marin Turkey Platter ($55.96) - Crate & Barrel

Fall Safflower Wreath ($69.00) - West Elm

2014 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Tray ($11.99) - Macy's

Trot Turkey Candleholder ($9.95) - CB2

Set of 2 Fox Salt and Pepper Shakers ($9.95) - Crate & Barrel

Thanksgiving Banner ($18.00) - Etsy

Copper Leaf Hurricanes ($9.95 - $29.97) - Crate & Barrel

Cast Leaf Bowl ($5.00 - On Sale!) - Pottery Barn

Ceramic Turkey Mini Candle Holder ($14.50) - Bath & Body Works

NOVEMBER DECOR

It's November 1st and that's like a mini-holiday for me, I get to celebrate the first day of decorating for Thanksgiving! (And that eventually leads into my favorite holiday - Christmas - but we'll get into all that next month.) As much as I would love to decorate my place from ceiling to floor in holiday decor, that can be a strain on the wallet, especially when shops come out with new adorable items every year. To avoid your closets and storage overflowing with festive decorations, I try to stick to small, easy to store pieces that can go in any room and make you feel oh-so-festive!

Terracotta Cast Cornucopia ($39.00) - West Elm

Laura Zindel Thanksgiving Dessert Plates ($6.00 on sale!) - West Elm

How are you decorating for this November?
