Thanksgiving is now over, and it's time for my favorite holiday... Christmas! A tradition of mine and my fiancé's is to decorate our tree while watching Home Alone (alternating between 1 and 2, of course). This year will be no different, but there's always room to add a few more decorations - from the tree to the coffee table, bookcases to even nightstands.

It's crazy, but it's real... 2016 is upon us. In less than two months, we'll be celebrating the new year and tossing out last year's calendars and planners.

SWEATER WEATHER

It's officially the first day of fall and you know what that means - it's finally sweater weather! Oh, did I mention it's still hitting 95 degrees here in Houston? It's time to drop the AC and sacrifice my electricity bill for the sake of fashion.

IS IT SCARF SEASON YET?

They weren't kidding when they said Houston was hot. It hit 104 degrees this week. 104 actual degrees! On a day where I bought a wool poncho. What the heck was I thinking?! I can handle the humidity they warned me about - I lived in swampy Central Florida for half a decade. B-b-but that heat! It's unbearable!

We have to admit it, every time Coachella rolls around and our Instagram is clogged up with photos of that damn ferris wheel, we feel insane amounts of FOMO. WINTER WHITE WARDROBE
