FAVORITO FRIDAY: THE PERFECT OPAQUE TIGHTS

It finally feels like fall, so it's time to bust out one of my favoring accessories - tights! I love wearing them for a dressed up night out or even for a casual outfit that is just thrown on for a day of errands. These pair of tights from Nordstrom are exactly what you need. Houston's weather dipped down to a perfect 68 degrees and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day! It got me in such a mood for fall, I just had to shop for the season's necessities - including boots. SWEATER WEATHER

It's officially the first day of fall and you know what that means - it's finally sweater weather! Oh, did I mention it's still hitting 95 degrees here in Houston? It's time to drop the AC and sacrifice my electricity bill for the sake of fashion.

IS IT SCARF SEASON YET?

They weren't kidding when they said Houston was hot. It hit 104 degrees this week. 104 actual degrees! On a day where I bought a wool poncho. What the heck was I thinking?! I can handle the humidity they warned me about - I lived in swampy Central Florida for half a decade. B-b-but that heat! It's unbearable! 

Naturally, I've been daydreaming about the crisp air that comes when fall is around the corner.
