SPRING DRESS IN LA FORTUNA

File this one under "one of the most unique spots I've ever done photos for an outfit post..."

One of the coolest things I got to see on my trip to Costa Rica was the Arenal Volcano in La Fortuna. Next week I'll be posting more pictures from my trip, but for these I kinda though to myself "when am I ever going to get to do a photo shoot in front of a volcano?"

This is also the outfit I wore to my best friend's rehearsal dinner in Costa Rica. This Free People dress was a last minute find before my trip at Neiman Marcus Last Call, and I paired it with Kate Spade Saturday sunglasses, and Donald J Pliner heels. The bracelet is amongst the most unique jewelry I own - a vintage ruler with double zippers c/o Left of Right. Their Etsy shop has some of the coolest pieces I've seen.

Sweet burns, right? One of the many misfortunes of being pale is burning in the sun. I just can't handle being closer to the Equator.

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES

As you may have read from my earlier post, I spent Christmas in Los Angeles, and ventured to downtown LA to celebrate the holiday. I fell in love with the buildings and character of the city (but let's be real, California weather can make you fall in love with a dumpster)!

And how appropriate was my Santa Monica shirt? I thought it went well with my new favorite Marrin Costello chain necklace (c/o). Photos were taken by my brother, Adam Badlotto, who also found this awesome old theatre.

STYLING ANASTASIA CHATZKA AW13 - THE LOLO DRESS

It's another round of Anastasia Chatzka's Autumn/Winter 2013! 

We loved accessorizing the Lolo Dress with Organza Overlay! The bright color quickly caught our eye (a change of pace for us) and the easy-to-wear silhouette is great for every body shape. Paired with a vintage pearl and chain necklace, we've created a classy look that can easily transition from day to night.

Jill is also wearing Badgley Mischka heels, a bright clutch, and makeup from butter LONDON Bespoke Colour Cosmetics in CHEEKY Cream Blush Abbey Rose and CHEEKY Cream Blush Pistol Pink for lips.

And since we're jumping into color, why not go all out with nails? Jill played around with Jaded Jack Nail Lacquer, Brown Sugar Nail Lacquer, and Pistol Pink Nail Lacquer.

STYLING ANASTASIA CHATZKA AW13 - THE DARIA DRESS

After viewing Anastasia Chatzka's Autumn/Winter 2013 collection at her shop, Anastasia, we just had to get our hands on a few pieces. How could we resist?

Last week we picked and styled our favorite Anastasia Chatzka duds and decked Jill out from head to toe! And what better way to get fully dolled up than with butter LONDON Bespoke Colour Cosmetics?

For this look, Jill wore the Daria Pleated Back Dress, Michael by Michael Kors heels, WINK Eye Pencil Indigo Punk, CHEEKY Cream Blush Naughty Biscuit, and LIPPY Sheer Gloss Tipple.

If you couldn't tell by all the twirling, this flirty and whimsical dress was the most fun to wear. Best described as modern day fairy tale attire (Cinderella's closets got nothing on this dress), the back details and basque waist were our favorite parts.
