CHIANTI & PROSECCO

Last week you read about the amazing 'Primp & Pour' event that is going on every Thursday in June, and now you can see two of the nail colors on! I tried Santa Margherita's Chianti Classico with the Prosecco as an accent. Is anyone else suddenly thirsty?

I absolutely love these colors! The deep red of the Chianti has a light shimmer that makes it sparkle in the light, but is not overwhelming, making it a color that you can rock day or night. Needless to say, this bottle is going to run dry pretty quickly. To switch it up, I added the gold metallic polish. Can you say obsessed? This true gold polish is a wonderful accessory to any outfit, and will be on all digits my next polish round.

DVF SAMPLE SALE

Can't bear to miss another sample sale but a spontaneous trip to New York is out of the question? DVF has you covered! For the first time ever, you can shop Diane von Furstenberg's sample sale online (who wants to fight that crowd anyway?). Of course, if you want to make a trip out of it, the sale is going on in New York City June 5-9 at 260 Fifth Avenue. But since I'm not looking to practice for a zombie apocalypse, I'll skip the mob, stay in Chicago, and opt to shop in my silk pajamas (I can't be a TOTAL bum for DVF). WHATRUWEARING PRE-LAUNCH PARTY

Wednesday night, we attended the WhatRUWearing.net Pre-Launch Party at the Chicago Cultural Center (you can learn more about it from our blog post here), and had so much fun mingling with other bloggers and learning more about the site. KIVA Salon was there giving polish changes while we enjoyed some wine and bumping music. Thanks again to Sara from Project Soiree for not only letting us know about the event, but getting us hyped for this fashionable social networking outlet!

We also LOVED meeting Cha'rron of CChicChicago and Kari from Style at a $teal, who both won best dressed (congrats again, ladies!). One of our favorites of the night was Sadhna's green dress paired with this gorgeous, embellished top. Pairing it with a simple gold belt and neutral shoes made this outfit catch our eye the second we walked in. Visit her clothing company, Sadhna Fashions.

Jess wore a Zara dress, with H&M tights, a Macy's coral belt, DV by Dolce Vita wedges, and Jill's Steve Madden handbag. Jill wore Romeo & Juliet faux leather leggings, an H&M top, Boutique 9 shoes, and a vintage handbag.
