Last weekend we got to check off one more thing on our Chicago bucket list - sailing Lake Michigan.
Chicago Sailing, home to the largest fleet in the Midwest, took us out on our first sailing adventure. They offer sailing lessons and rentals, but if relaxation is more up your alley (like ours), they have fun captained charters that are perfect for a summer day. You
know we had to bring the champagne.
Chip was the captain for our complimentary two-hour sail, in which we requested the route that had the best skyline views. We loved having him accompany us, especially since he didn't judge us for all of the pictures we took! It was such a fun experience. From the music on the boat, to the food and drinks we got to bring along, it's something that all Chicagoans
must do.
