Car shopping is the only kind of shopping I don't like. Although I've done it once in my life and gave up my car when I moved to the city, I still recall how not fun the process was. I remember feeling extremely adult-like, making my first big girl purchase, but that feeling was quickly shot down when I realized I needed to drive sitting on a pillow... that totally boosted my ego.
Many of us rely on our car every day to get around. Whether public transportation isn't available, walking is a legit hike, or taxis don't come down your block often, it's the most popular means of transportation. There are many days (especially in the winter months) when I miss hoping into my temperature controlled vehicle and getting to my destination quickly. But hello, do you know how many pairs of shoes I can get for the price of a car?
That's where cars.com comes in. Not only do they make car shopping much more fun, but they're about to make someone's life even better! Currently they're holding a new car promotion where they'll be paying off one lucky winner's car loan payment, up to $25,000. And entering is so simple!
Take it from me and Titan, dogs don't make for good transportation. I mean, do you see that face? How are we supposed to keep up in this traffic?
Here's how you can win! Simply upload a photo of you and your car on Twitter (tagging @carsdotcom), Facebook (posting on cars.com's page), or Instagram (tagging/mentioning @carsdotcom) showing off your best #newcarface and using the hashtag. And don't forget to get creative!
You can only submit one entry for this new car contest, so be sure it's a good one. It's open to legal US residents, 18+ (excluding MD, NJ, and TN... sorry guys!) who have a vehicle loan or lease - or who has an immediate family member with one. The contest ends January 2, 2015 at 12:00 PM CST, so you have some time to get your creative juices flowing. You can read more rules and regulations, and see examples of #newcarface entries, here.
See how happy my #newcarface (and Titan's!) is when we don't have to depend on each other to get around?
You bet we'll be tracking the hashtag to see what you come up with.
Good luck!
