Yep, you read that right again. This month.

Besides the insanity that has become my life - trying to pack up an apartment that I've been in for over four years, leaving two (other) amazing jobs, finding a new home, and trying to fit in the holidays somehow - I am so excited for this new chapter in my life. Why Houston? My fiancé got his dream job! This is something he's been talking about since college and while Texas wasn't ever part of my plan, I can't say no to a man that has never smiled so big than when we heard the amazing news.
But don't worry, Jess & Jill is here to stay! We'll just have to change things around and become two girls in two cities, easy peasy. Expect to make some new Texas BFFs and have a little bit more sunshine year-round. Hope everyone is excited about this move as much as I am!
Have you ever been to Houston? Now tell me where to live, eat, drink, and shop.
Jess
Congrats to you and your fiance, Jess! That is so exciting and such a fun new chapter in your lives. While I don't envy the moving process, I'm sure you'll enjoy the weather in Houston come January than you will in Chicago! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Julie! I am so excited to celebrate my birthday in January with sun! I've had to postpone my birthday every year since I've lived here because of snow.
DeleteSO EXCITED for you and yours' new adventure! I visited Austin last summer and LOVED it! Can't wait to read up on your new home :]
ReplyDeleteThank you, Stacey! As much as I'm excited to move to Houston, I'm even MORE excited to visit Austin!
