ABOUT US!

Jess and Jill lived similar, but separate lives as they both grew up and went to college in Florida. But, it wasn't until they both moved to Chicago with their boyfriends and eventually found each other. (This is obviously a story of fate and destiny.) Now they continue their friendship in Houston and Chicago.

It's Jess!

Jess, a Geography graduate of the University of Florida (Go Gators!), is a Visual Merchandiser/Goddess and has worked for the likes of Forever 21, Jessica Simpson, Vince Camuto, and GUESS. If there was only one store left on this planet, she'd choose Nordstrom (a one stop shop!) and couldn't live without jewelry and wedges in her life.

Besides fashion-obsessed, Jess is a true maphead and deltiologist, and as a geography nerd, she will try to find her way to sneak anything related to that into a post (i.e. this one). 

You can most likely find her with her loving boyfriend of four years, traveling, with a camera around her neck, baking, doing her nails,  on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram (she really likes the internet), or exploring her new home, Houston.

It's Jill!

Jill was born in Brooklyn, New York, but spent the majority of her life living in South Florida. Currently earning her Masters Degree at the University of Chicago, she graduated in 2010 from the University of Central Florida with a bachelors in Political Science/Pre-law. A few years later, she moved to Chicago with her two favorite boys of 6 years, her boyfriend and boxer, Titan. Besides fashion, some of her obsessions include the Olsen Twins, politics, living out of a suitcase, nail art, The Beatles and being an animal lover. If she had one wish it would be to live in the 60s (a hippie at heart) and some of her favorite pieces are her Grandmother's vintage jewelry. She believes no heel is too high and to never use one word to describe your style - the most beautiful thing about fashion is you can be whoever you want to be!

30 NEVER LOOKED BETTER

Last week, GUESS on Michigan Avenue celebrated 30 sexy years with Marie Claire and one heck of a celebratory bash! The private anniversary party had all the fixings with a DJ (spinning music from the 80s, 90s, and today), cocktails, a candy bar, birthday cupcakes, and mini beauty stations from OPI, NYX, and Violent Lips! Models were decked out in the capsule collection (photos below!) and standing in front of iconic ads from the past three decades.

Did I mention the photo booth?!
